The present invention relates to a method for planning and controlling a logistical process chain in agriculture, characterized by the following method steps: Description of process steps (9, 10) and process participants (2, 3, 4, 18, 23) of the logistical process chain by means of a machine-readable semantic data model (PM), - generation of rules for classifying process participants (2, 3, 4, 18, 23) and process steps (9, 10) to be carried out using the machine-readable semantic data model (PM), - description of relations between a process step (PM) 9, 10) and a process participant (2, 3, 4, 18, 23) by means of the machine-readable semantic data model (PM), - continuous determination and evaluation of process data of the process participants (2, 3, 4, 18, 23), which an automated rule-based inference (IM) based on the machine-readable semantic data model (PM) to a process-based inference (IM) generated by a process participant (2 , 3, 4) to be carried out deviating process step.
