Temperature monitoring system for laser -based lithotription using an endoscope device that provides a working channel for a light conductor that is optically coupled to a laser on the proximal side and has a light output port on the distal side Ice, as well as a flushing channel, which in the area of the light -emitting aperture is distal and is connected proximally to a flushing conveyor and a flushing reservoir fluid,characterized by the fact that the system includes a module unit, which can be combined with the endoscope, comprising the following components:a flow sensor which can be installed along the flushing channel and determines a flush rate without contact with the flushing fluid;an input medium that transmits a laser power usable at the point of the light output aperture via the operating parameter of the laser to a computer unit connected to the input medium;a temperature sensor which is mountable along the flushing channel and determines a flushing temperature without contact with the flushing fluid;an analysis unit implemented in the computing unit which, at least on the basis of the flushing rate, the temperature of the flushing fluid (T) and the laser power determined, is an intracorporal lithotription based on the laser light at the point of the light output; temperature T numerically determined, anda compensating unit which compares the determined temperature T with a threshold value and produces a signal when the threshold value is exceeded.
