METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ASSISTING A VEHICLE WITHOUT MEANS OF ACQUIRING ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION BY THIRD-VEHICLE VEHICLES

A method assists a first vehicle (V1) moving in a car park (PK) where second vehicles (V2) are located acquiring information representative of the environment around them (V2). This method comprises a step where second vehicles (V2) combine the environmental information they have acquired to each constitute a map of the parking (PK), materializing the occupied and free locations and the positions of the non-parked vehicles, and, when the first vehicle (V1) issues a request for assistance, a second vehicle (V2) is transmitted to the first vehicle (V1) the most recent map, or determines for the latter data defining a trajectory to follow to park on a free location, then transmits to the first vehicle (V1) these determined data so that it determines commands for organs involved in its displacement, suitable for following this path, or such organ controls.
