NOVEL POLYSILOXANE-BASED FOULING RELEASE COATINGS INCLUDING BIOCIDE(S)

The present application discloses a fouling release cured paint coat comprising a polysiloxane-based binder matrix constituting at least 40 % by dry weight of the coat, 0.01-20 % by dry weight of one or more non-reactive fluorinated oils, and 0.1-10 % by dry weight of one or more biocides. The application further discloses a marine structure comprising on at least a part of the outer surface thereof an outermost coating prepared from the specified coating composition, and the combination of one or more fluorinated oils and one or more biocides for improving the antifouling properties of a polysiloxane based coating composition.
