The present invention relates to: a strength improver composition for a hydraulic powder, which contains a reaction product obtained by the reaction of (a1) at least one compound selected from polyhydric alcohols having a valency of 2 or more and 5 or less and (a2) an aldehyde compound or ketone compound; and a method for improving the strength of a cured product of a hydraulic composition, which includes adding the strength improver composition to a hydraulic composition.
