The invention relates to a method for producing a 1C polyurethane system (129) adapted for creating an elastic flooring (129, 136). The method comprises: - creating (602) an initial mixture (900) comprising: €¢ a mixture of MDI monomers, the MDI monomers comprising 2,2' MDI, 2,4' MDI and 4,4' MDI, wherein at least 5,9% by weight of the initial mixture consist of the 2,2' MDI; €¢ a polyol component comprising a CO 2 based polyethercarbonate polyol (932), the polyethercarbonate polyol having a viscosity of at least 800 mPas at 25°C; - reacting (604) the initial mixture into a prepolymer mixture, the prepolymer mixture comprising a prepolymer, the prepolymer mixture being adapted for use as the 1C polyurethane system.
