Final Steps on the Route to Commercialization of CO2-Based Polyols for Flexible Foam

摘要

The introduction of polyether-polycarbonate-polyols to the European flexible foam market on a commercial scale is on track for the fall of 2016. This paper presents the recent progress that has been accomplished on the development of these polyols and a guide to formulations for conventional slabstock foam. Emphasis is placed on physical and emission properties of conventional foams. Moreover, the topic of sustainability of the polyols is covered.
