The present invention concerns an ear plug (3) for human ears, comprising a flexible nose portion (4) for insertion into an ear of an user, a handle portion (5) extending longitudinal from a first end (6) to a second end (7), being connected to the nose portion (4) on the first end (6) and comprising a fixation structure (9) for fixating a cord (2) to the ear plug (3) on the second end (7). It is intended that the fixation structure (9) comprises a first guide channel (10) oriented at least essentially parallel to the longitudinal extension of the handle portion (5), the first guide channel (10) leading to a first opening (12) at a front surface (13) of the second end (7), the fixation structure (9) further comprises a second guide channel (14) that extends from a second opening (15) in an outer mantle surface through a third opening (16) into the first guide channel (10) and that is oriented transvers to the first guide channel (10) such that the second guide channel (14) is aligned with the first opening (12).
