Disclosed are a device, a means of locomotion and a method for increasing the efficiency of private transport. The disclosed method involves the steps of: - ascertaining a travel profile using sensor equipment of a first means of locomotion; - verifying (400) whether the ascertained travel profile can be implemented using an electrically driven, second means of locomotion; and - outputting (500) at least part of the result of the verification process.
