An approach developed to increase the efficiency and quality of estimation of the technical condition and residual operating life of technical devices based on informational support and automation of the process of its preparation and conducting. The methods, models and means developed reflect a methodology for the process of the inspection of the industrial safety of technical devices. Informational technology has been developed, as well as an Intelligent Software System implementing it, for automation of the collection, storage and processing of the information necessary to support decision making while estimating the technical conditions and residual operation life, which are the basis of industrial safety inspection.
