To provide a system and a method for monitoring and controlling the dosage of a medical agent having an anesthetic property.SOLUTION: A system and a method for monitoring and controlling the dosage of a medical agent include: a step for arranging a plurality of sensors which are constituted so as to acquire physiological data from a patient; a step for thoroughly investigating the physiological data from the plurality of sensors and an index from a user interface; a step for assembling the physiological data into a set of a time series data; a step for analyzing the set of the time series data in order to decide a usage indication profile conforming to the dosage of a medical agent; a step for confirming at least either of a current state and a predicted future state of the patient by using the usage indication profile; a step for controlling the dosage of the medical agent so as to arrive at the predicted future state; and a step for creating a report including information related to at least either of the current state and the predicted future state of the patient which is induced by the medical agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
