PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber reinforcing aramid short fiber bundle having good high-temperature adhesiveness to rubber and good dispersibility in rubber, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This is an aramid short fiber bundle for reinforcing rubber, and a latex having an epoxy compound attached or permeated on the surface of the aramid fiber or in the fiber skeleton and having an average particle size in the range of 100 to 150 nm. It is an aramid short fiber sizing body for rubber reinforcement, characterized in that the sizing agent contained therein is attached. The above-mentioned sizing agent is applied only once to an aramid fiber bundle made of aramid fibers having an epoxy compound attached or permeated on the fiber surface or in the fiber skeleton and having a water content of 25% by mass or more, and then dried and dried.
