PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for developing a protein expression profile in a biological sample of formalin-fixed tumor tissue obtained from a subject. Using the SRM / MRM assay, proteins involved in cell processes, including cell division, cell differentiation, inhibition of cell growth, cell metabolism, cell signaling, and response / regulation of tumor immunity. It can be detected and quantified directly in the tumor tissue of interest. The SRM / MRM assay can provide a tumor tissue profile for the entire microenvironment of a tissue, regardless of the cellular origin of expression, and inform the optimal cancer treatment for the subject.
