To evaluate a risk associated with traveling a vehicle.SOLUTION: A method comprises: a step for generating a digital twin of a vehicle; a step for receiving digital data recorded by a sensor and describing a state of the vehicle as it exists in a real world and a behavior of the vehicle traveling in the real world; and a step for updating the digital twin of the vehicle based on the digital data, such that the digital twin matches the state and the behavior.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
