PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping-out range expansion wiper device and a control method of the wiping-out range expansion wiper device for executing control for starting wiping-out operation without discomfort when resuming the operation.SOLUTION: A microcomputer 58 controls rotation of a first motor 11 and a second motor 12 so as to expand a front passenger seat side wiper arm 35 by the rotation of the second motor 12 by interlocking with rocking of the front passenger seat side wiper arm 35 by the rotation of the first motor 11. The microcomputer 58 also controls the rotation of the first motor 11 and the second motor 12 so that a rotation angle of an output shaft of the first motor 11 and a rotation angle of an output shaft of the second motor 12, monotonously change up to the respective rotation angles in a lower reversal position P2P or an upper reversal position P1P when making a front passenger seat side wiper blade 36 execute wiping-out operation toward the lower reversal position P2P or the upper reversal position P2P from a stopping position except for the lower reversal position P2P and the upper reversal position P1P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
