PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof column that enables the outer periphery of a steel column to be easily coated with a refractory material and a noncombustible material, and a bearing wall comprising the same.SOLUTION: An outer periphery of a steel column 28 is coated with a refractory member 38. A hole part 38A is formed in the refractory member 38, and a connection part 34 of a lattice material 32 joined to the steel column 28 is exposed via the hole part 38A. Interference between the lattice material 32 and the connection part 34 is avoided by the hole part 38A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
