PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renovation method capable of renovating water-resistant layer without removing a large part of an existing support member.SOLUTION: A support frame for renovation 1 is used for repairing an existing water-resistant layer 4 having an existing support member 3 for attaching an attachment item. The support frame for renovation includes: a main body constituted of an upper plate and side plates extending from the upper plate to support the upper plate; another object mounting part which is formed vertically on the upper plate for attaching an attachment item; a coupling part which is provided at the inside enclosed by the upper plate and the side plates of the main body and is coupled with the existing support member; and a support part coupled to the main body to support the coupling part.
