PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influences caused by a seam of a belt-like tape upon a measurement result in a case where a rotation speed of a rotor is measured while winding the belt-like tape around the rotor.SOLUTION: A CPU 12 of a rotation speed information correction device 10 calculates an average rotation speed N of correction target information and sets a low-speed threshold Nl and a high-speed threshold Nh based on the calculated average rotation speed N. The CPU 12 next identifies seam entering timing t1 and seam leaving timing t2, calculates correction ending timing t3 subsequent to the seam leaving timing t2 based on a time from the seam entering timing t1 to the seam leaving timing t2, and sets a period from the seam entering timing t1 to the correction ending timing t3 as a correction target term T. Finally, the CPU 12 corrects a rotation speed during the correction target term T in the correction target information into a rotation speed within a range between a rotation speed just before the seam entering timing t1 and a rotation speed just after the correction ending timing t3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
