PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-film compound solar battery and a thin-film compound solar battery array that can be manufactured by sequential lamination.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a thin-film compound solar battery includes the steps of: forming a solar battery layer 30 having one or more PN junctions, on a substrate; forming a surface electrode layer 40 on the solar battery layer 30; coating the solar battery layer 30 and the surface electrode layer 40 with a transparent material 50; removing the substrate; and removing a part of the solar battery layer 30 to expose the surface electrode layer 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
