it is a filling and finishing cartridge that includes a conveyor, a fluid path connection, a needle insertion mechanism and a drug container. cartridges enable drug containers to be filled with pharmaceutical treatments using standard filling equipment and process systems, while maintaining sterility and container integrity of the fluid path. the fill and finish cartridges of the present invention can be nested or removably housed in fill and finish trays for batch filling in standard operating processes. thus, the adaptable filling and finishing cartridges of the present invention can be flexibly inserted, fixed, installed or removably positioned in filling-finishing trays. these modalities, consequently, can provide innovative and economical assemblies and cartridges that are readily integrated into drug filling processes. methods of assembly, manufacture and use are also provided.
