The invention relates to an assembly for the devaluation of a personal object. The invention further relates to a portable holder for the devaluation of a personal object. The invention also relates to a method for the devaluation of a personal object. For this purpose the invention uses a portable tool with which at least one hole can be made in the object to be valued, as well as a portable holder for positioning the object with respect to the tool at a predetermined position.
