Attachment device for shielding a pit opening of a silage silo, comprising: - a frame; - a roof connected to the frame, which extends substantially horizontally and which is adapted to screen at least a part of a first side of the silage opening in the silage silo; - shielding means connected to the frame, which are arranged for shielding at least a part of a second side of the pit opening; and - displacement means arranged on the frame; wherein the roof and the shielding means are arranged together to shield the silage opening of the silage silo in a first condition.
