The invention relates to a method for determining foodstuff and dietary supplements that contain nutrients required to satisfy a nutritional need. According to the invention, the method consists in calculating the nutrient intake involved by foodstuff and dietary supplement consumption in certain time intervals and comparing it with the customized nutritional need set according to a genetic profile, the maximum and minimum recommended limits, thereby identifying the exact amount of foodstuff required to satisfy said nutritional need, followed by consumption of the selected foodstuff and health condition monitoring by periodical biochemical tests.
