Road managers need to decide whichadditive use, whereto use it, how to use it, how much and when to use it, in a cost-effectiveway. The disclosed systemuses georeferenced sensors mounted in vehicles and stationary stations, acomputing system, amethod and algorithms to forecast the demand for road maintenance additives(dust control, soilstabilization and anti-Ice), manage its application process, optimization andcompliance reports,and different users interaction venues, such as web access, mobile app,Internet of Things andVirtually Augmented Reality. The described system permits road additivesmanufacturerscustomize their products blends to optimize their performance to specific typeof soils and roadnetwork's needs. The described method may also be configured with undergroundlocalizationtunnels to provide an underground road's additive management system.
