The present invention relates to a reusable and machine washable hypoallergicpillowcover/protector. This is comprised of 3-layers of laminated fabric that iswater-impermeable,breathable, and antimicrobial. Generic pillow covers/protectors can beassembled with sewingmachines which leave gaps in the fabric or include generic zippers with gapsthat both allow for thetransmission of allergens between the user and the pillow. The inventionutilizes ultrasonicwelding/bonding technology, waterproof tapes, and a hermetic zipper to renderthe coverallergen-proof. This would provide a hygienic and hypoallergenic sleepingenvironment forpersonal use at home, travel use in public accommodations, and/or clinicalenvironments.
