The mattress-, topper-, schooner-, duvet cover- or pillow cover fabric has a fabric layer made from knitting-, active- or woven fabric with an outer side and an inner side. The outer side faces away from a mattress-, topper-, schooner-, duvet cover- or pillow core in related condition. The inner side faces the mattress-, topper-, schooner-, duvet cover- or pillow core in the related condition. A partial area of the outer side or inner side has color-changing indicator particles for indicating a contamination by dust mite feces, body fluids or bacteria. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a mattress-, topper-, schooner-, duvet cover- or pillow core with a foam layer; and (2) a mattress-, topper-, schooner-, duvet cover- or pillow cover with a textile or yarn.
