The attachment device provides the underfloor attachment of a cylinder-type gas tank having rounded ends. The device comprises first and second tank attachment members (CH1, CH2), each tank attachment member comprising an attachment plate (PF), incorporating an underfloor mechanical attachment interface, and an end support means (RE) assembled with the attachment plate and having a shape (VI) suitable for receiving and supporting a rounded end of the tank. According to the invention, the end support means comprises a network of radial partitions (LA) for force distribution, the force-distribution radial partitions being distributed around a central axis (AX) corresponding to an axis for mounting the tank and having a contact profile adapted to a surface shape of the rounded end.
