Disclosed are a graphene dispersant, a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride is hydrolyzed in an aqueous concentrated potassium hydroxide solution at 90ºC, and the pH is adjusted to be weakly acidic with a concentrated hydrochloric acid, so as to obtain 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic-monoanhydride-monopotassium sa same is reacted with 2-aminoethanol in an aqueous phase at 90ºC and then is subjected to acid eduction so as to obtain 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic-monoanhydride-ω-hydroxyethylamide, which is reacted with an excess of 3-diethylaminopropylamine in DMF solvent so as to obtain 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic-N,N diethylaminopropylamido-ω-hydroxyethylamide; and same is then polymerized with an excess of propylene oxide under the catalysis of potassium hydroxide and the reaction conditions are controlled, so as to obtain a graphene dispersant, i.e. 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylicdiimide that is asymmetrical and has a polyether group and an average molecular weight of 700-1700.
