The present invention relates to a heat exchanger of an exhaust heat recovery apparatus having a simple structure which is configured such that exhaust gas is evenly distributed, thereby preventing a boiling phenomenon wherein coolant water is boiling, and improving efficiency of heat exchange and durability of the apparatus. The heat exchanger comprises: a housing (100), having both sides open and extending to one side, in which an exhaust gas is introduced into one side and discharged out of the other side; at least two tube parts (200), spaced apart from each other at a certain interval in a height direction, which are accommodated inside the housing (100) and form a flow path in the direction in which the housing (100) extends so as to allow the exhaust gas introduced into the one side of the housing (100) to pass through; an exhaust gas inlet (300) formed at one lower side of the housing (100); an exhaust gas outlet (400) formed at the other lower side of the housing (100) and formed to have an area smaller than that of the exhaust gas inlet (300); a coolant water inlet (500), formed on a side of the housing (100), through which coolant water flows between the tube parts (200); and a coolant water discharge port (600), formed on a side of the housing (100), through which the coolant water introduced between the tube parts (200) is discharged.
