With the method for the modification of the fast growing wood using the rosin-based unsaturated resin according to the present invention, the fast growing wood has a density increased by 4.7617.07%, a weight percent gain (WPG) of 4.90-18.16%, a hardness increased by 0.59-1.23%, and a contact angle increased from 64.57-12.73° to 111.81-73.25°, thereby reducing the limitation of the wood in application.
