A drug prescription risk control method and apparatus based on data processing. The method comprises: obtaining a drug prescription of a medical unit to be monitored (S11); obtaining drug information comprised in the drug prescription, and determining the daily average drug cost of the medical unit to be monitored according to the drug information (S12); determining whether the drug of the medical unit to be monitored exceeds a standard or not according to the daily average drug cost, and a daily average drug cost threshold corresponding to the medical unit to be monitored (S13); and if the drug of the medical unit to be monitored exceeds the standard, performing drug cost standard-exceeding risk control of the drug prescription on the medical unit to be monitored based on the daily average drug cost (S14). By means of the method, the accuracy of the drug monitoring of the medical unit can be increased, the reliability of the drug monitoring of the medical unit is enhanced, the effective utilization rate of medical resources is increased, and the applicability is high.
