Disclosed are a data-processing-based drug cost control method and apparatus for a traditional Chinese medicine prescription. The method comprises: acquiring a traditional Chinese medicine prescription of a medical unit to be monitored (S11), wherein the traditional Chinese medicine prescription comprises at least one dose of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, and one dose of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces comprises at least one kinds of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces; acquiring drug information of various kinds of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces comprised in each dose of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces of the traditional Chinese medicine prescription, and determining an average daily cost of a single kind of drugs in a single prescription of the various kinds of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces according to the drug information of the various kinds of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces (S12); according to the average daily cost of a single kind of drugs in a single prescription of the various kinds of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, determining whether a drug cost of the traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces of the medical unit to be monitored exceeds a standard (S13); and if so, controlling a drug cost over-standard risk of the traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces on the basis of the average daily cost of a single kind of drugs in a single prescription (S14). Using the solution can improve the accuracy of drug use monitoring on a traditional Chinese medicine decoction piece of a medical unit and improve the reliability of drug use monitoring on the medical unit, and the solution is of great applicability.
