The present invention relates to an instrument for checking a cavity or a tube of a human body in a visual or radiographic manner, and in particular to an insertion component of an electronic endoscope, and an electronic endoscope. In the insertion component, multiple connection portion rack guide rollers are arranged in a front-rear direction of a connection portion housing, and a connection portion rack is supported on the multiple connection portion rack guide rollers in a sliding manner, and is used for being detachably connected to an operation component rack. The electronic endoscope comprises an operation component and the insertion component being detachably connected to each other, wherein multiple operation component rack guide rollers in the operation component are arranged in a front-rear direction of an operation component housing; the operation component rack is supported on the multiple operation component rack guide rollers in a sliding manner; and the operation component rack and the connection portion rack are detachably and transmissibly connected in a back-forth moving manner. Thus, separation design of the operation component and the insertion component of the electronic endoscope can be realized, so that the insertion component of the electronic endoscope can be made into a disposable component to eradicate cross infection between patients.
