The present invention relates to a turbo compressor capable of operating in a surge region and, more specifically, to a turbo compressor capable of operating in a surge region, wherein the turbo compressor can operate during a predetermined time even in a surge region as well as in a normal region in which the turbo compressor normally operates, so as to prevent the turbo compressor from being paused by a surge temporarily occurring and thus improve the performance durability and efficiency of the turbo compressor.
