Disclosed are wall-broken dioscorea alata decoction pieces and a preparation method therefor. The method comprises the following steps: (1) pre-crushing dry dioscorea alata into granules with a particle size of 10-100 meshes, soaking the granules with a first aqueous ethanol solution, filtering to obtain a filter cake, freeze-drying the filter cake, and placing the obtained granules at -10°C to 0°C for 1-3 hours; (2) performing microwave treatment in vacuum on the dioscorea alata granules obtained in step (1); (3) performing ultrafine crushing on the microwave-treated dioscorea alata granules obtained in step (2); and (4) mixing the ultrafine powder obtained in step (3) with a second aqueous ethanol solution, and carrying out granulation and drying.
