This ranging correction device (10) corrects ranging information (31) between a sensor (1) and an object. On the basis of the difference between ranging information (31) measured by the sensor (1) this time and ranging information measured by the sensor (1) the previous time, a movement calculation unit (202) calculates the movement distance of the object with respect to the sensor (1) in each of multiple directions as movement information (32). A correction direction extraction unit (203) uses the movement information (32) in each of the multiple directions to calculate the movement speed of the object as the object movement speed, and on the basis of the object movement speed, extracts, from the multiple directions, a direction in which to correct the ranging information (31) as the correction direction (33). A ranging information correction unit (301) calculates, as corrected ranging information (34), the distance from the sensor (1) to the object in the correction direction (33) at a correction time point between the time point when the sensor (1) performed measurement the previous time and the time point when the sensor performed positioning this time.
