The present invention relates to pharmaceutical or cosmetic compositions including extract of Brassica oleracea, preferably Brassica oleracea var capitata, in nanostructured systems, such as liposomes, solid lipid nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, nanotubes, nanocapsules, nanospheres, microemulsions or other drug-delivery systems with an average size of less than 1 gm and greater than 20 nm. The nanostructured systems according to the present invention include natural or synthetic phospholipids and/or surfactants and/or cholesterol and/or vegetable oils such as castor, cotton, almond, grape, inter alia. Such systems help to increase the bioavailability of the active ingredients, enhancing the action and reducing toxicity.
