A system comprising: at least one hardware processor; and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon program code executable by the at least one hardware processor to: receiving a plurality of video segments, each depicting prenatal embryogenesis of a corresponding embryo; dividing each of said video segments into a plurality of consecutive packets each comprising a specified number of frames; training a first machine learning model on a training set comprising (i) said packets, and (ii) labels indicating a developmental parameter associated with each of said corresponding embryos; and training a second machine learning model on a training set comprising: (iii) sets of outputs of said first machine learning model, wherein each of said sets is associated with said packets comprising one of said video segments, and (iv) labels indicating said developmental parameter associated with said corresponding embryo depicted in said one of said video segments.
