Provided is a protector, for an automobile wire harness, that can suppress rattling of the protector against a junction box. A protector 10 has a protector body 11 provided with an accommodation section capable of accommodating an automobile wire harness W. The protector body 11 has a slide securing section 40 which is secured to a fitting section 110 provided to a side surface 102 of a junction box 100 that forms a cube. The fitting section 110 has an opening 111 which opens in a direction parallel to the side surface 102 of the junction box 100. The slide securing section 40 is inserted, into the opening 111 of the fitting section 110, in a direction parallel to the side surface 102, and is secured by surface contact, with the fitting section 110, in a direction intersecting the insertion direction thereof.
