A functional food of a probiotic formulation having blood glucose lowering effect, comprising Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillusacidophilus, and Bifidobacterium lactics, and having significant effects of lowering blood glucose (reducing the fasting blood glucose in the morning, the blood glucose 2 hours after the meal and the ratio of glycosylated hemoglobin) and effectively controlling blood lipids in obese models and diabetic patients.
