[Problem] To obtain a health and beauty tool that is capable of reliably and easily applying an active ingredient contained in a solid cosmetic, medication, or the like, to the surface of the human body. [Solution] A health and beauty tool (1) comprising: a case (12) having an application hole (19) opened in an applicator surface (18a); a base (30) that is solid at room temperature; a base-accommodating part (20) provided in an interior space (15) of the case (12), and for accommodating the base (30); a base-conducting member (21) that is housed within the interior space (15), is configured such that the conducting-passage cross section at one end is of a size capable of receiving the base (30), and is disposed so as to be in communication with the application hole (19) on the other end; a guide passage (20) for guiding the base (30) accommodated within the base-accommodating part (20) into the one end of the base-conducting member (21); and a heating means for heating the base-conducting member (21) to melt the base (30) that has been conducted therein.
