The present invention relates to a dryness improving device and method for improving the dryness of the steam of a steam injection boiler. The technical solution thereof is as follows: multiple compressed air circulation holes perpendicular to a front end head are provided at the interior of a compressed air intake channel from the middle of a flange bolt of the front end head, and the compressed air intake channel communicates with a fuel pipe channel by means of the compressed air circulation holes; multiple compressed air heat dissipation holes are provided on a front end surface of the front end head, the compressed air heat dissipation holes being vertical to and communicating with the compressed air circulation holes; air heat dissipation nozzles provided at tail ends of the compressed air heat dissipation holes, and multiple air heat dissipation spray holes are uniformly distributed on the circumference of the air heat dissipation nozzles. The beneficial effects are as follows: the front end head is cooled well, compressed air is fully pre-heated during the process of cooling the front end head which is beneficial for the atomization and combustion of fuel, and the air heat dissipating nozzles designed on the front end surface of the front end head cause an air cooling air film to be generated on the front end surface layer of the front end head so as to sufficiently protect the front end surface of the front end head and various penetrating parts from being damaged by high temperatures, thereby greatly reducing operation costs.
