The present invention relates to a latent crimped polyester fiber in a side-by-side type using two kinds of polymers. More specifically, the present invention relates to a latent crimped polyester fiber with a natural fiber texture, wherein the polyester fiber uses, as a high viscosity polymer, a polyester copolymer which shows high shrinkage characteristics and has intrinsic viscosity of 0.6-0.85, and is also formed of a general polyester polymer having intrinsic viscosity of 0.4-0.55 as a low-viscosity polymer.
