The telmisartan solid dispersion of the present invention and its preparation method are simple and short steps using relatively inexpensive raw materials, unlike conventional methods requiring low yields, complex processes of multi-stage synthesis and the use of expensive raw materials. High yield telmisartan can be produced, excellent quality can be obtained by reducing decomposition product generation, and mass production is possible, and thus it is highly commercially available. Therefore, the solid dispersion of the telmisartan novel crystalline polymorph of the present invention is expected to be very useful for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, since the storage stability and solubility can be improved and synthesized in a high yield.
