The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting biofilm formation of Gram-negative bacteria containing terrein as an active component and uses thereof. Terrein of the present invention effectively inhibits the production of virulence factors and biofilm formation to have an effect of enhancing antibiotic sensitivity of pathogenic microorganisms, thereby being able to be usefully used as a sterilizer or a therapeutic adjuvant for infectious diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms.
