According to the present invention, in an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) control method applied to an EGR system (1), respectively detected as valve control conditions are an operation region applied with acceleration through a controller (10), a mixer in which air-fuel concentration is applied, and an external factor applied with a cooling water temperature, altitude, and gear stages. By implementing the valve duty differential control which calculates an EGR valve duty set as a target air volume to an intake air volume as a minimum EGR valve duty (H) according to the valve control condition and applies it as the EGR valve duty to an EGR valve (3), EGR supply disconnection can be prevented which is the cause of the EGR valve duty dualization through the minimum open EGR valve duty (B), and the excessive NO_x peak with the minimum EGR valve duty (H) through correction factor, and combustion instability, torque reduction, and excessive smoke can be additionally prevented.
