The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a metal nanoparticle-porous oxide composite structure which proves that the metal nanoparticle-porous oxide composite structure having metal nanoparticles simultaneously and uniformly distributed on a surface of a porous oxide can be manufactured by only an electrochemical plating technique, the number of metal nanoparticles can be controlled by controlling various process conditions, and the metal nanoparticles have high stability and uniform distribution more than that of a previously reported metal nanoparticle-porous oxide composite structure. According to the present invention, the metal nanoparticle-porous oxide composite structure manufactured by the method can be applied to various fields, in particular, a fuel cell, various catalysts participating with metal, and the like. According to the present invention, the method comprises a first deposition step, a second deposition step, and a metal nanoparticle generation step.
