The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a food composition including pear and citron for preventing or mitigating respiratory diseases and a food composition thereof. According to the present invention, the method comprises the following steps of: (A) boiling pear in water and filtering the mixture to acquire a pear filtrate; (B) boiling a citron mixture mixing skin and flesh of cut citron and filtering the mixture to acquire a citron filtrate; (C) mixing the pear filtrate with the citron filtrate to perform natural fermentation at room temperature; (D) mixing and boiling a naturally fermented natural fermentation product and stems and leaves of a citron tree and filtering the mixture; and (E) aging the filtrated filtered in the step (D). Accordingly, the food composition can be usefully used as food for preventing or mitigating respiratory diseases.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
