The present invention relates to a device for inducing internal short circuit of a battery, capable of evaluating the battery, preventing ignition, and accurately simulating short circuits between electrodes. To this end, the device comprises: two or more porous wax layers having a plurality of pores through which lithium ions can pass; and at least one metal foil layer having a porous or mesh shape with a plurality of pores through which lithium ions can pass, wherein the metal foil layer is interposed between the porous wax layers.
