The present invention relates to a system for stabilizing output power for solving a phenomenon that the output power of solar power generation fluctuates to a system by fluctuating from time to time depending on weather conditions, and a method thereof. Particularly, the present invention relates to a method for controlling output power of a solar power generation system to be stabilized by controlling operation of an energy storage system (ESS). According to an embodiment of the present invention, output power of new renewable energy can be stabilized by considering a residual capacity of a battery in a new renewable energy storage system, and a cost can be economically reduced by performing additional control for minimizing the cost of the ESS.
